The best Mexican food I've had in L.A. and for a reasonable price at that. The mole sauce is to die for! Excellent house hot-sauce as well, spicy but still with great flavor. Robert was a wonderful host, very kind and helpful with recommendations from the menu. It's a small spot, easy to miss, but you don't want to miss this!

On the first day of my trip, I had my very first Mexican meal here. The owner at the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Despite my hesitation and unfamiliarity with the menu, they patiently waited and explained everything to me. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious. I really appreciated how they paid close attention to my specific taste preferences. It exceeded my expectations, and I would love to come back and try other dishes if I have the chance.
We came for dinner for the first time, it was amazing. All the food was very good quality and delicious. The selection was great and they even had many many many types of flans, tacos, breakfast burritos... amazing. I highly recommend; the interior was simple, comfortable, cozy atmosphere and reminiscent of traditional family and a very solid Playlist. Highly recommend!!!
Great service and amazing food. 2nd time I’ve been here and they did not disappoint. First time had the asada nachos and taquitos. This time shared the menudo, carne asada breakfast burrito and a chicken mole tamale. Menudo was savory and slightly spicy. Carne asada breakfast burrito came covered in green salsa but the simplicity and quality is what made the burrito taste great! The chicken mole tamale was savory, sweet and nutty. Good chicken to masa ratio. Definitely worth a visit. Look forward to trying the other menu items.
Amazing staff. Super friendly and fun! The tamales have amazing portions and are the best I’ve ever had. Super recommend this place and I might be using it as a weekly stock up option with how good of a deal it is to get a dozen!
Some of the most delicious food I’ve had I LA, and and amazing prices. All their meats are delicious but I think the crunch berria tacos are standout for the price.
My friend took me here because they said it was one of their favorite places. And it lived up to their word. I got the chorizo and potato empanadas and they were outstanding. On top of the food being good the staff were so nice. I highly recommend this place and next time I'm in la I will be coming back.
